Acting as the technical right-hand for the Project Leader, and later as Project Leader in several ~1M€ test rig projects to develop testing capability for screw compressors ranging from 600kW to 1.2MW. Next to that, implemented several solutions that improved the daily running of the current test cells, as well as designed several other, small test rigs.

Assisting a Ph.D. student with research on validation of newly developed Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) material models.

Planning of the whole experiment chain, including specimen production, preparation and test execution and post-processing
Feasibility study and conceptual design of a constellation of small spacecraft capable of detecting and localising radars and GPS jammers for the Royal Netherlands Airforce, in collaboration with external experts. This 10-week project was carried out by 10 students as their Design Synthesis Exercise (Bachelor thesis project).
